G-Natxa DOQ Priorat

Vineyard located on our estate in Gratallops, in the center of the Priorat region. These vines grow among slopes and terraces on the edge of the Siurana River. The vines that produce this wine are on average over 25 years old. The soil is made up of "Licorella," a slate with little organic matter and low water retention. For this reason, the vines have low yield, around 700/1000 grams per plant.

Bright cherry red color of medium layer, with a violet rim. Clean and bright. Nose with high aromatic intensity. Great aromatic complexity, both in origin and aromatic families. Notes of acidic red fruits, such as strawberries or red cherries, bay leaf, fennel, balsamic notes. Subtle vanilla notes from perfectly integrated wood aging. Mouth with high aromatic intensity. Great balance between acidity and taste intensity. Well-integrated alcohol content. High acidity that provides tension to the wine and allows its body to be elevated. Long and luscious finish.

Spontaneous fermentation with yeasts present on the skins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Once fermentation is complete, aging in 2500-liter Austrian oak foudre for 18 months. Wine unfiltered and unclarified. Very limited production.
